What's going on at Solar Canada?


Back by popular demand, ELSE will be offering two "Employment Tours" on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The tours provide an icebreaker for job seekers or students looking to learn more about some of the companies involved in the solar space and common career. The tours are let by an experienced young professional and last for one hour. The tour will stop at 5 booths on the exhibition floor, were company representatives will make a short presentation and answer questions. Each tour is limited to 15 people. Click here to register!

Cost: All Learning Pods are free, accessible to to all Solar Canada Conference or Exhibition attendees.
Location: There is a mini-classroom set up in the Expo Hall. Hint: on the floor plan, look to the far left, in red.
Summary: Into its high voltage second year, Emerging Leaders for Solar Energy (ELSE) continues to set the stage for young professionals and students, helping them find their place within the industry through a variety of programs. ELSE is planning an electric year for 2015, with the launch of its new Mentorship Program, as well as the evolution of the Solar Ambassadors Program and involvement with UofT's Solar Decathlon team. This session will also showcase 2014 successes; including the ELSE/SunFarmer collaborative project in Siddheswor, Nepal. If you want to get involved with ELSE or advance your career, this Learning Pod Session is a must-attend.
