Are you a young professional who is passionate about solar energy? Emerging Leaders for Solar Energy (ELSE) is looking for new National Board Members! The application deadline has been extended to midnight on February 14th!

The past year has been a landmark one for ELSE which has seen many achievements including the launch of the first Canadian solar-focused mentorship platform, the completion of several high-impact projects supported by ELSE, including the launch of OffGridU, and the exciting growth of the Solar Ambassadors Program across Canada. ELSE has had a very successful 2015. We are looking to build up our 2016 Board of Directors to continue the momentum.

The 2016 Board will be composed of 18 members, including two co-chairs, six committee-specific chairs and ten additional board members; this year there are seven open positions taking applications. Details on the open positions are outlined in the application package below. Applicants for the board of directors are required to commit to a minimum of 2 terms, with a "term" beginning and ending on March 1st. The expected weekly time commitment is approximately 2-4 hours, and applicants must be 35 years of age or younger.
