Events

Welcome to the Events page! We are the ELSE Events Committee and our objective is to prepare signature events that bring together students, young professionals, innovative entrepreneurs, and passionate individuals sharing a common interest in solar. We want to provide an exciting opportunity for you to get more involved with ELSE and the solar industry by coming out, volunteering their time, or participating in the planning process!

As we continue to grow and expand our horizons, we also want to make sure we deliver great opportunities for networking and career development, while serving as a key resource to help foster the development of your knowledge and active involvement in the solar industry. Events range from hands-on workshops, power plant and manufacturing facility tours, to speaker panels and networking events just to name a few!

The ELSE Events Committee is guided by three primary objectives:

  1. To generate public understanding and thought-provoking discussion about solar energy;
  2. To enable professional development to foster Canada’s next generation of solar energy leaders with new skills, knowledge, and connections; and
  3. To expand awareness of the work of ELSE and grow its membership base, through building a sense of value and community.

On occasion, ELSE partners with other organizations for co-hosting or co-promoting events. If your organization is interested in an Event partnership, please email: events@elsecanada.ca
